For sale is Alan Kulwicki’s Hooter’s Thunderbird by Monogram.  It is a Limited Edition 1 of 5000.
It is kit number 0762 and skill level 2.  It is 1:24 scale and was copyrighted in 1995.   It was made in the USA and the UPC is 076513007621.
Enclosed is a Collectable 5x7 driver photo by Racing Reflections with the Official Racing Reflections Hologram.
After winning the pole at Atlanta for the 1991 Motorcraft Quality Parts 500, a restaurant chain based in Atlanta looked to Alan Kulwicki to fly their colors.
Alan lead part of the race on network TV, and managed a top 10 finish. The new sponsor Hooter’s Restaurants received a lot of exposure, and decided to stay with AK Racing Inc. for the rest of the season. That now famous # 7 car nabbed 3 more poles, and started on the front row an incredible eight times in 1991.
Once again, the stage was set at Atlanta for the final race of the 1992 season. Alan Kulwicki helped Ford Motor Company win the Manufacturer’s Championship, but two strong rivals, driving T-birds as well, where much in contention with him for the driver’s Championship. Kulwicki and Co. stayed cool, avoiding trouble all race long.
He wasn’t the fastest and he didn’t win that race, but the team accumulated enough points to win Alan Kulwicki the 1992 Championship.
This kit is brand new and factory sealed.  The box has some warp.  It comes from a smoke free and pet-free home.
