    Description

On offer a folk art ship model of a combination sail and steamship, entirely carved and worked by hand, made from make-do materials:  the rails are tiny tacks strung with flax and painted with a metallic paint, the masts look suspicously like drumsticks, etc. This was made by Perc Wilbur or his father Stillman Wilbur, who both worked in a shipyard in Albert, New Brunswick.
    SIZE
    : 24 L x 7 W x 13 T
    CONDITION
: Good, amazingly intact given the fragility, excellent original surface.  Missing the side of one level, as shown.  Losses as pictured, displays extremely well.
